Built as the owner's retreat from city life in Edinburgh it affords guests a 'get away' with modern comforts. The dining kitchen is well equipped with an ample dining area looking out towards Loch Earn. Guests can relax in the large loch facing lounge or use the more intimate sitting room, a great place to read, soak in the view; and watch out for ospreys over the loch. There are 2 double rooms, one with ensuite and two twins, a bathroom, with shower over the bath and a separate shower room.

Water sports are plentiful with a local water sports centre/cafe within 5 minutes’ walk. The owners are water sports enthusiasts and the house has a mooring on the loch which can be used by guests by prior arrangement; for details please contact us.
Lochearnhead, situated in an idyllic, picturesque holiday location, is an ideal centre for a variety of leisure pursuits including walking, fishing (Mar - Oct), 8 golf courses within 1/2 an hours’ drive, cycling on dedicated pathways, waterskiing and canoeing. This part of Scotland is a paradise for the walker with leisurely strolls in the surrounding foothills, or serious hill treks for the more energetic - guided walks can be arranged locally. Located on a quiet road within the village, the house has easy walking access to local restaurants/bars, shop, post office and childrens’ play area. There is easy travel to explore other local villages such as Killin with the spectacular Falls of Dochart. Follow the road past Killin along Loch Tay to Aberfeldy, enjoying the views of Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain, part of the NT, and boasts many precious wild flowers. Perth, Oban, Stirling and Crieff are also easily accessible. Shop and pub 800 yards.

* There were 6 adults and one 3 year old in our party and the accommodation was excellent, plenty of room without being on top of each other. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there. Overall a very good house in a lovely location.
