Go Ape Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, Tarzan Swings and zip slides up to 40 feet up in the trees. Appealing to a wide age range, customers are fitted with a climbing harness, given instructions, and then trek from tree to tree high above the forest floor (over 10's only).  The only Scottish location is in Aberfoyle.

Family friendly wildlife centre, with plenty of highland cows. Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is set in 100 acres of beautiful Perthshire countryside. In addition to the wide variety of animals and birds is an indoor playbarn with real tractors, swings and sandpit. Outdoors a large play area with 'flying fox' will keep the kids (big and small) entertained for hours. You will also find the Falconry Centre, Pine Lodge Café, Gift Shop and unique wild bird hatchery; hatchings from Easter to October. Open daily 10am until dusk.

Stirling

Stirling Scotland 's sixth largest city. The ancient settlement of Stirling boasts Stirling Castle , and The Wallace Monument and The Old Town jail. All are worth a visit.

The Bannockburn Heritage Centre explains how Robert the Bruce triumphed over King Edward II in 1314 and allows visitors to see the battlefield for themselves, as well as a statue of the mounted hero. All these attractions – and more – make the city of Stirling a perfect place for a family day out!
