For the past thirteen years Castle Rednock Farm has operated a Pony Trekking business and have now expanded their outdoor activities to include:
Pony Trekking - Enjoy the beautiful countryside from the back of one of the Farm’s experienced horses under the supervision of helpful staff. The Farm aims to cater for all ability levels and ages of 4 and above and the priorities are customer enjoyment and safety, giving opportunities for all to reach their own potential. Children are given one-to-one supervision if needed. The treks are one and two hours long and cover some of the most scenic countryside within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Hats are provided and fitted by staff members. There is a 17 stones weight limit.
Segway Trekking - These intriguing machines are environmentally friendly, silent, sensitive,battery powered and highly responsive to the movements of the body . During your guided trek, opportunities will be given to allow you to combat various types of terrain after a short training session. You will quickly become confident on this unique method of transportation and will glide effortlessly over the Farm’s scenic tracks . Available for all over 10 years of age and under 17 stones in weight. This is an experience not to be missed!
Quad Pods – The newest form of transport at Castle Rednock is great fun for children of 3 years and above. The Quad Pod will allow children to enjoy the scenic farm in the safe seat of the yellow pods. They are towed behind a quad and are able to travel safely over mixed terrain.
Shetland Pony Driving - Try your hand at Shetland pony driving. The Farm’s willing little pony will safely allow you to develop new skills. The experienced staff will give you basic training in carriage driving. This activity is open to all. Children will be supported on the cart by a member of the Castle Rednock staff team.
Orienteering - With the support of friends, family, a map and compass enjoy finding your way around the beautiful farm . At the same time encounter wildlife, clues and the possibility of winning prizes!!!
