Immediately after the christmas lights are switched on, enjoy a spectacular firework display across the River Tay.
Santa arrives at St. John’s Shopping Centre at 12 noon on Saturday. He will meet children until approximately 5.30pm when he takes part in a Christmas Parade through Perth City Centre. Then parade starts from Thrimblerow car park, goes down the top of the High Street, then turns right into Scott Street, left into South Street and ends in Watergate.

Scotland’s Outdoor Festival of Chocolate which is a market-style chocolate shopping experience with a variety of fine chocolatiers, chocolate businesses and chocolate-related products.
There will be lots of street entertainment taking place in the city centre over the two days with music and dance on the Community Stage in King Edward Street and the Children’s Stage in Horsecross Plaza.
As part of Perth’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2021, Perth’s communities will be coming together to showcase the creative talent across the region on 20th November. From 12 noon, venues across the city centre will be alive with music, dance and drama, while there will also be exhibitions and the chance to try your hand at some cultural activities. The day will culminate at 5pm on the main stage in Tay Street when all of the groups will come together to perform a grand finale.
