20th, 21st & 22nd December - Morning and Afternoon trips
For the very first time the world famous Jacobite steam train will be joined by the equally famous Santa Claus. He will join the train and our passengers at Fort William, the largest town in the Highlands situated in the southern end of the Great Glen, lying in the shadow of Britain’s highest mountains Ben Nevis, and it’s from here this magical journey begins, en route to Glenfinnan where we cross the 21 Arched Glenfinnan Viaduct (made famous in the Harry Potter movies), before making our way back following the same route.
The second you step on board, Christmas begins in earnest, with our specially decorated carriages all aptly named after one of Santa’s beloved reindeers. You will be met by one of Santa’s helpers who will take you to your seat and run through what to expect.
It’s fun for all the family, wonderful for children who will all meet Santa and receive a FREE gift and a real treat for grown-ups who will witness winter in the Highlands like never before. A real winter wonderland treat!
Included in the fare, will be Mulled Wine and Mince Pies for adults, and for children a soft drink and gift from Santa!
