The four routes cover
- The Trossachs – the Doune, Dunblane and Callander areas
- The Campsies – the Aberfoyle and Stirling areas
- Falkirk – covering Falkirk, Bo’ness and Linlithgow areas
- The Ochils – the Alloa, Dollar and Valleyfield areas
There is a showcase exhibition of some examples of the artwork and this is taking place between 3rd May and 1st June. This exhibition is held in the Macrobert Art Centre at the University of Stirling.
Facts about Forth Valley Open Studios show that over one hundred participating artists in over 80 venues take part each year. A showcase exhibition displays the work of all participating artists. A series of workshops will be held in the run up to this year’s event.
For visitors to the event there is the opportunity to see diverse and varied artwork
The experience of discovering new artists while visiting studio’s & talking to artists.
There is also the opportunity of learning from the artists and buying art direct from the artists.
